Hi I am waiting collection of my first hens:) - ex battery farm:(. There will be 12, or maybe one
or two more if anyone doesn't collect on the day!

Does anyone else have ex batts?

Welcome to BYC Wendy! There are many people on BYC that have ex battery chickens, or if not officially ex-batt, they are chickens that have rescued in some way or other. I hope your new flock arrives safely and that they settle down well.

Thank you to everyone who gave me such a warm welcome! I look forward to telling you about my girls when they arrive. Meantime, my large WIR is getting there - OH and neighbour working hard to complete it before rescue day!

Thanks again for all the "hello's" and welcomes.

    Wendy
