Hello to all! My name is Duke and am new to the site and to chickens. My wife and I plan to raise 10-15 chickens for eggs and meat. We currently have four Red Sexlinks to start us out and while waiting til the spring to order some Easter Eggers. I look forward to learning!

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. X2 on NorthFlChick and the RSLs being egg laying machines. You will consistently get more than 300 large brown eggs per hen per year from those four girls.) If you haven't done so already, definitely check out our Learning Center at https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center. There is lots of useful information there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Cheers.
