Hi everyone, I joined after looking at all the awesome coop photos on the site. I currently have no chickens, but my mother really wants them. My mom’s birthday is in May so I am going to build, or buy, her a chicken coop and get her a few hens. Some of her neighbors keep chickens, at least I can hear roosters crowing if I happen to go over there in the morning. I know my mom will love this as a birthday present, she had to put her 16yr old rat terrier down last week so she is pretty upset. I think the chickens will be a good way to keep her busy and keep her mind off her dog.
Well I think I will go and leaf through some of the other posts and get to learning and making notes!
