Hello from Harwinton

Hello Everyone,

I am very excited to be a member of BackYardChickens!

My family (chickens, husband, kids, dogs, etc) is located in Harwinton, CT. It is the only Harwinton in the US, a combination of the towns "Hartford" and "Windsor", population about 5500.

We decided to get six pullets this spring. They are currently residing on our screen porch. I had no idea I would love them as much as I do. I love to watch them do their chicken thing.

I'm looking forward to learning a lot from all of the members of BackYardChickens.
