I've been reading all of the interesting posts on the forum since last summer when we decided to build our own coop. My husband finally gave in! My two teenaged sons are not as thrilled as I, but I know they will grow to love the chicks! I'm a gardener, and hopefully, soon-to-be beekeeper, who grew up on a farm in Central Indiana. Marriage and teaching relocated me to Northern Indiana, and I am itching to get busy with chickens. They were due to arrive today...and they didn't. I'm feeling deflated, but tomorrow is another day! Looking forward to being a part of BYC!
