I'm not so new to chickens, but LOVE this site. I come here first, any time I need answers concerning my Girls, Sissy, Nugget, and Pee Wee. And I can't leave out my beautiful boy, Scratch, my Welsummer rooster, who is becoming a bit of a handful, biting all the time. If anyone has a remedy for him, it would be appreciated. I don't know why he is becoming so aggressive all of the sudden.

Anyway, hello and glad to meet all the good people who love chickens as much as I do!!

Welcome to BYC! Please make yourself at home and we are here to help.

Cute names!

Sometimes over aggressive rooster need to be separated from the flock for a bit. But sometimes there is just no cure and they need to be done away with. But try and separate him for a few days and see what happens.

I'm glad you joined us.

I'm sorry to hear about your aggressive rooster. I would check out the link that Yorkshire Coop left you, to learn about the behavior and how to correct it.
