Have been browsing the forum for the past few weeks and decided to join. My chicks started to hatch this morning. I have not hatched any eggs for over thirty years and had forgotten alot, but thanks to this site my memory has been somewhat refreshed. I dug out an old incubator my dad bought when I was a kid (Brower 8460) and a brooder (Brower 6401) and got started. I imagine I or my girlfriend will be in need of some help as we go along.
Thanks Bill and Bobbilynn

Welcome neighbor! I live in Crawfordville too. I raise lots of Cornish Cross meat birds, White Leghorns, just starting a flock of Jersey Giants and will have Bourbon Red turkeys in a couple of weeks. I am incubating the White Leghorn chicks now and will add the others when they start laying. If I can help just let me know.
