Welcome to BYC. Go to 'The Learning Center' located at the top of the page, study the forums, question away, plan and you will be good to go. Good luck in establishing your flock.

Welcome to BYC, I love it when kids get involved. So many better things in life than video games, etc.

Raising poultry is a wonderful experience for the whole family. It's a hobby the kids can continue on into adulthood and taking care of animals teaches kids a lot about life.

Have fun, if you have questions always feel free to ask.

Thanks everyone, I've already learned a lot just looking around. I'm sure I'll have a few questions in the near future. Right now all we have going is our brooder box has been built and we will be converting an old swing set into a cool and run. Hopefully after this weekend we can get started on that.
