Greetings from Kansas, Tom, and [IMG]! Great to have you in our community! Red sex links are a great variety - prolific layers and docile! If you are new to the chicken world, you might like to take a tour of the Learning Center - it is loaded with informative articles covering the entire spectrum of chicken raising.

And if you want to visit with some local chicken folks, find the NC thread in this link and pop on over and say howdy:

G’Day from down under Tom [IMG] Welcome!

As you have already received some links to some good starting points, I will just wish you and your little ones all the best.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out [IMG]
