Hi everyone,

My wife and I recently purchased our dream 10 acre farmstead. She is busy getting the gardens ready, and I am in charge of the chickens. I plan on raising Buckeyes. I was looking for a cold-hardy, dual use, heritage breed, and they seem to fit the bill pretty well. Plus, the least-scientific but most important reason; I like the way they look!

To start, I have some questions on coop plans, but I'll go to that forum and post them there.
