Hello from New Zealand

I've been reading BYC forums for a while now and have decided now is the time to join. I've kept chickens for about 10 years and have recently progressed to buying fertile eggs for my broody chook which has been a lot of fun and a lot of learning! I currently have 7 grown ups (2 light sussex, 1 golden lace wyandotte and 4 mixed breed) and 4 15 week old silver lace wyandottes (3 pullets, 1 roo), plus a dog, two cats, a guinea pig, two kids and a husband.

We live in rural NZ, so that will explain any out of season questions and posting in the middle of the night!!

I look forward to getting advice from the experts here!
