My name is Bonnie and I live in Spring Creek, outside Elko. I'm new to being a chicken mom, and don't have my chickens yet, my husband is still building the coop. It should be ready by the end of the month. which means I can get my chickens next month. It gets cold here at 5700 ft. so I'm opting for cold hardy chickens, Orpingtons, Barred Rocks and Rhode Island Reds. I want to get older (5 months) hens and not chicks as it won't be long before winter here. I'm also a Jack Russell Terrier mom of three and my husband and I live on an acre and a half. I'm passionate about gardening and quilting. With chickens I'm sure I'll be very busy.

I wanted to know if putting linoleum on the coop floor is good or not? I thought it would be easier to clean.

and I'm not sure about the linoleum, but someone on here should.
