Yes, my family first started with 4 chicks last year (May)

3 Sapphire Gems, 2 Sapphire Olive Eggers 2 Jersey Giants and 1 Midnight Majesty Maran
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
How they contribute so much to human life
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening, Wildlife conservation, hiking, painting...
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. We are a small family of 3 that lives off on 5 acres in the mountains of NJ, we enjoy animals and staying active.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Before we had chickens and were researching and came across BYC many times...love the idea of knowledge from my peers...yay forums!! Finally decided to join because after a year I am starting to have specific questions and I would like to finally be apart of the community.
