My husband and I moved into a home in Vienna, Va in Fairfax county and one of the first things we did was order chickens! They arrived in April and we've been enjoying them ever since. We've learned a lot, and I read many threads on BYC before I became a member. There is so much great information here. We currently have eleven lovely ladies who keep us entertained and produce delicious eggs for us: Fanny, Lizzie, and Lucy are white leghorns, Mabel and Ramona are red sex links, Ruby is a production red, Chirp and Dale are welsummers, Cleo and Gertrude are easter eggers, and Edna is a Barnevelder.
