Hello from Oakland, CA!

Hi everyone,

I've been wanting chickens for a while now and since the price off eggs is going through the roof I figured now is as good a time as ever. I also want my 3 daughters to have the opportunity to understand the food chain from beginning to end. For them to have a clear understanding of where our eggs come from and what it takes to get from the coop to our plate.

So bear with me as I will probably be asking lots of questions.
