My family is finally about to move into our own home! We will have at least 1.5 acres around the Edmond/Guthrie area so I am excited to get started with 3-4 hens for fresh eggs. Maybe a couple more depending on location and size of the property.
As excited as the family is I have been having a hard time finding local places to purchase from. I do not want to start with 10-15 chickens and would also really like to stay local.
Any advice, ideas or, tips would be greatly appreciated

! Great to have you in our flock. I think the best advice I can give is to read up in the Learning Center link below - it is full of info to get you off to a good start with your birds!! You can also do some coops research as well if you like. The last link is the Oklahoma link where some locals might be able to help you find some birds. Best of luck to you!
