Hi everyone. My name is Amanda and I live in Southeastern Ontario. We have a small flock of 9 Rhode Island Reds (1 rooster and 8 hens) that we have had since last spring.
We are incubating for the first time this year and are very excited but nervous that everything is going ok (we are at day 7).
We also have 3 Pekin ducks (Quinn, Skittles and Rick :), 2 dogs ( Pomeranian Zeus and Boxer/Bulldog Harley) 3 cats ( Finn, Mittens and Malfoy) and 2 mini rex bunnies (Thunder and Mary Jane).

Lots of animals and 3 beautiful teenage girls to keep us busy! Looking forward to learning lots from other chicken owners.

Greetings momof3gurlz, Welcome to BYC! :frow

G'Day from down under Amanda :frowWelcome and Good Luck with the hatch!

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

BYC has Topic of the Week discussions which I have found to be a great resource, informative and sometimes entertaining; so definitely worth checking out.

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your flock and/or other critters, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)

Including your general location on your profile will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have and vice versa.

You might want to also visit the Canadian Thread and pop in and say hello.
