    Hello everyone!

Long time researcher, first time poster, and chicken owner.

We are currently raising 4 chicken in the Sunshine state. Started them out from chicks which have been a great experience for myself and the kids. It's amazing how much personality each of them have. They're almost 4 month old now and hopefully they're all ladies.

We're learning a great deal from the BYC community!

Welcome to BYC [IMG] Glad you joined us! Chickens are enormous fun to raise and they do have a lot of personality! I never expected to enjoy and love my flocks as much as I did and still do. Enjoy the site!

[IMG] That's so fun, and yes-- you'll probably soon find out if you have any surprise roosters! My rooster who was supposed to be a pullet just looked older and more like a full-grown chicken at first, until he got super aggressive lol! But good luck and have fun enjoying fresh eggs in the coming months! Glad you joined us!

Welcome to our community. If you post pics on the "what breed or gender is this" forum I'm sure the gender gurus will help you out.

    Best wishes

Welcome to BYC. At 4 mos. of age it should(hopefully) be much easier to sort out the genders.
