Hello all! I'm new to the forum and also to the concept of raising backyard chickens. We're very eager to get started, especially after having a visit with a totally off-the-grid home/farm, where we received a full tour of an incredible hen house, chicken coop and rooster restraint.
I'm a birth doula and mother of 2, with 1 on the way. My goal is to have our chickens set up by the spring of next year but I'm getting started now. I can use lots of help and support and am eager to share everything I learn with other modern homesteaders.
