    Hello everyone

    We are Sandra and Richard,

We are fairly new to owning chickens. We acquired our first hen last summer, when our 13y old son found her on the side of the road and brought her home. She was a red hybrid whom we named Mrs Cluck Cluck. We fell in love...and well the rest is history. Now one year later
we have over 40 chickens. We never in amillion years thought we were chicken people but we have discovered a new passion and cannot get enough of chickens. we have definetely caught the chicken fever. We spend much of our time reading about chickens, buying chickens,
building new copops for our chickens. But mostly we just like to hang out with our chickens. We are so excited to have found this forum. We cannot wait to get to know everyone and to learn from your experiences and expertise and to share in our passion for these beautiful
    feathered creatures.

( Sadly Mrs Cluck Cluck passed away this summer she will be missed) [IMG]

We are not too far from the border, about an hours drive.

Quote:I know there are "issues" with birds and crossing the border, but there is a show/swap in Waddington NY the weekend of September 18/19. Feel free to attend and consider yourself humbly invited [IMG]

Unfortunately we will not be able to attend the show/swap. I have a 6 week old baby son and the long drive wouldbe too much for him. Thanks for the invite, maybe next time [IMG]
