I'm so happy that the city council voted with a unanimous vote on Tuesday night, that you can keep 3 hens in your backyard in the city of Sacramento. I have been waiting for this vote. Starting Nov. 1, 2011 we will be able to have three hens by paying a $15 fee and $10 per chicken to keep hens in your backyard. Money well spent, looking forward to getting my hens soon.
