I am new here and the PM that I recieved suggested that I start a thread here introducing myself, so that's what I'm doing! My name is Heather and I am brand-new to the world of chickens. We got some fertilized eggs from a friend who has chickens and now we have 11 adorable little four-week-old chicks running around. I had no idea how much fun they would be! I am scared that at this rate I will turn into That Crazy Chicken Lady. We don't know how many males and females we have just yet. We will keep all of the females and one male... whoever is the quietest! I'm so glad to be here to get advice from more experienced chicken owners and I'll help out in any way I can, too!
