Hello all! It's my chickens' 1 year birthday in a couple of weeks and I'm finally getting around to joining this group. I come here every time I have a question!
We have 7 chickens that we raised from 1 day old. We have 2 Australorps, and one each...Ameraucana, Buff Orpington, Wyandotte, Dominique, and Rhode Island Red. The are lovely girls. They are each named after a first lady of the US starting with Gracie (Coolidge) up until Lady Bird (Johnson).
We are loving the fresh eggs, and we are really enjoying them as pets. They are a social bunch and they love to interact with my two sons, my husband, and I.
