Hello from Southern Maryland!

    Hello, I'm Kimberly and I live in Southern Maryland. I have 6 ducks: 1 Jumbo Pekin male, 1 Welsh Harlequin female, 1 Blue Crested Swedish female, 1 Black Swedish/ Campbell mix male,1 Black Swedish/ Campbell mix female,1 Fawn Runner male. I also have 8 chickens: 1 Dominique,2 Silver laced Polish,3 Cochins ( one White,one Black,and one Buff), 1 Buff Orpington and 1 Mille Fleur(sp). I also have 4 cats, 4kids and a husband:)

    hello! im new too! what is the difference between raising chickens and ducks if there is any may i ask?

    I think there are alot of differences. To put it in a nut shell, ducks are messy, and chickens aren't[​IMG] With ducks comes water and alot of poo. With chickens~ there is only drinking water no pools and alittle poo:)
