I just bought 12 Russian orloffs. Does anyone know if the hens are good mothers and layers?

Thanks I looked at a few sites and 50% said yes and 50% said no. But thanks anyways

I read an article recently that said the hens were "non-broody" and "indifferent layers" but I've never raised them myself.
