Hello to all at BYC,

Can not wait to start building a small coop for 4-5 hens. Being here in Maine we don't thaw out until July...just kidding. My son who lives in North Conway NH has gotten me interested as he has quite a flock at his homestead. Have enjoyed exploring the site.

I have a BYC friend in Maine, and she reports they have been having a record amount of snow plus the ice and cold temps etc. I thought she was kidding when she said they don't plant till July.
