Any other Texans out there? My husband and I live on the banks of a creek in a public park, so we have a front row seat to all the duck happenings on the creek, and they have been really wild this spring!! We actually killed a rat snake who was devouring eggs, took him out of the nest, and Lonei, the mama duck came back to sit on the eggs again, hatching nine babies. Just one of the many interesting things we get to be a part of. We don't have chickens, but we feel a kinship here.
