Hello from the Pacific NW

I keep a small flock of chickens along w/a couple of ducks. I picked eggs as a youngster & can't believe the enjoyment I get from watching these silly creatures & their antics. NEVER saw myself raising any as I thought I'd gotten my fill of 'em picking eggs in commerical chicken houses. Now, I see "people' in the characteristics of my flock! Stumbled across BYC a few years ago & I enjoy the camradrie & knowledge shared among members.
