I am a total chicken newbie despite my husband referring to me as Chicken Lady. We have 16 chicks coming in a few weeks and 9 eggs after that we will try to hatch. My husband and I, along with our kids age 5 and 9, just bought 108 acres in Greenwood, SC. We *inherited* 7 unruly goats, two donkeys and a mule with the property. We hope to build our home out on the farm over the next year. Right now it's just pastures and ponds!
