I'm an old city biker who wants to mini farm now in retirement. Just bought 8 acres and now to attempt the feat. Found this group very useful for lots of knowledge. Anyone close who would like to barter would be great. Also trying aquaponics for veggies. Hope to hear from yall soon. Dan

welcome Dan. Chicken keeping is contagious. Eight acres allows for a lot of happy free ranging chickens. I'm just saying...

Dan, retirement is a wonderful thing. I'm retired and have never been busier. [IMG]

Hey, Dan! Welcome from Southern California. Best of luck with your mini-farm endeavors! That's what my husband and I hope to be able to do some day. For now we both work full-time and maintain our burgeoning semi-rural homestead, while spending as much time as possible on our Harleys. [IMG]
