Hello from western NY

I'm looking forward to sharing conversation with other member's here! In the past I've had black Australorp's which were very enjoyable. Last year we bought some left over chicks that our local farm store had. When they were a few months old - all but one came up missing (pretty sure it was a human thief and not an animal). This year I am planning on purchasing some cochins and a couple Australorps. We live in a rural area on a small farm with 13 acres.
