Hi from Wisconsin! We've been raising chickens for 13 years, but we are redoing the coop this summer so I'm looking for your expertise to help me make this new coop just right.

    Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! Have you checked out the coop section? They are some great coops there that could give you some good ideas for your new coop. Here is the link ~https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/2/Coop_Designs

Good luck with your new coop and enjoy BYC :frow

I too recommend the coop section. Rule of thumb is 4-5 sq. feet per bird in the coop - excluding roosts and nest boxes & 10 sq. feet per bird in the outdoor run.

    Hi, welcome.

I love seeing coop ideas and plans. More chickens to house in palatial surrounds, just up the members' alleys.
