    Hello!

Welcome to BYC and the coop! There's a lot of great peeps here! Feel free to ask lots of questions. But most of all, make yourself at home. I'm so glad you decided to joined the BYC family. I look forward to seeing you around BYC. The bottom picture looks like a red sexlink. The top, I'm not sure. Good luck with identifying them. :)

How can I tell if this is going to be a hen or rooster or is there a way to tell?

I think it will be easier to tell the breed once they are a little older, maybe around 4 weeks old. Then you can post pictures of them here:
    https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/15/what-breed-or-gender-is-this
Don't forget to read the picture guidelines so you'll know what is needed to accurately identify them.

    Have fun with the chicks!

Can you give us a clue of what breeds might be possible from the eggs you set? Unless you have sexlink chicks, it is going to be rather difficult to tell gender at this stage of the game.
