Hello everyone I am new to this Forum. I live in Southern California with my husband and our four children. We live in the city , but I have to have my chickens. I have three cats, and one pet dog and a service dog, two turtles and 8 chickens. I am hatching more would like to have at least 12. More hatching any day

Congrats and welcome to the beginning of the addiction. Hatching is a serious disease and is easily transferred to humans.

Honestly, I don't think you're going to be able to stop at 12. I started with 17 and ended up with 100!
