Im a new member who has been gaining amazing information from your site.
I have a ISA brown hen who is 23 weeks old, has not started laying yet. ANd the last week has begun making funny noises in the morning. It sounds like a long stretching R sound. It is quite loud also.
She did attack me twice coming at me pecking my shoe and chasing me inside. Do you think she is just becoming very dominant? What could these sounds be? I was wondering if she is a he??. Although we were told that it was female when we got it at 9 weeks old.
