first, thank you so much for accepting me to the site. My name is Sandy and my husband and I are raising thirteen chickens. The first group will be a year old in October. They are: Owl, our Olive Egger hen, Monk, our Dominique hen, Crow, our Australorpe, Ruth, our white silkie hen and Doug, our blue silkie rooster. These girls and boy get along great. I am looking forward to when we are able to start introducing the babies to the flock.


Our second group are our seven silkie chicks who are two and a half weeks old. We have six buff and one white in that group. And they adorable!

We are so smitten with our flock. Well, I am; my husband likes them, but wouldn't admit to loving them.
So hello from the toasty southwest!
 
Howdy, pardner (does southwest mean John Wayne country?) I had my silkies since they were eggs. They are awfully cute when they are little (and when they're big, for that matter). Hope you like it here.
