Hi,
I've been lurking here since we decided to get chickens, and have found the site very helpful. I have 3 chickens, 1 Americauna/or Easter Egger, 1 RI Red, and one Mystery chicken
I also have 4 dogs and 2 cats and 2 parakeets and fish and a 7 y.o. daughter. The chickens are awesome, although 1 may be a rooster. We did have an accident (child left pen open while dogs were out) and lost a chicken and now our mystery chicken has a broken foot (I think--it's been 6 weeks or so) but she's a sweetheart and is not in pain and hops pretty well. Anyway, glad you guys are here!
