I don't know much about quail, I only have chickens. But you can post the questions under the Quail forums to get advice.

Hi Genevieve and welcome to BYC.

The Learning Centre is a great resource, even for experienced bird keepers - loads of info on anything quail. https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center

Joining your state thread will put you in touch with other BYC members in your area, which can be helpful (just type the name of your state in the search box).

    All the best

You can get information on quail if you post on the "Quail thread," just put that in the search box and it will come up.

The Learning Center has some very good introductory quail articles, maybe they'll be of help.

    Thanks for joining us!
