    Hello All,

I have been keeping chickens for about 4 years now. I am on my second flock of chickens (the last of my first flock of girls passed just a few weeks ago L). There are 9 of them: 1 Golden Lace Wyandotte, 2 Silver Lace Wyandottes, 4 Jersey Giants and 2 tiny Japanese Bantams that a neighbor gave us because he had too many (they are super tiny and cute). I have a little experience with chickens so I can’t wait to share my knowledge with others, learn more useful tips and tricks of chicken care, and make some friends.

Sorry about your last girl passing. Best of luck with your newest flock! You'll have to show us some pics of the Japanese Bantums. I met my first Bantum visiting a friends farm the other day and I fell in love! It was a rooster and he was so cute! I might have to consider that my next go round.
