I've been reading this forum for months & decided to join. I have 8 chickens in my backyard. 3 are inherited from my in-laws due to them moving and 5 are chicks we are growing. The grown hens are a RIR, a ophington & a Ameraucana.

Our chicks are: Black Sex Link (about 9 weeks), Blue andalusian (8 weeks), 2 Ameraucanas (8-9 weeks) and 1 RIR (9 weeks).

We fear 1 is a Roo as we started to hear a broken crow 2 mornings ago.

Thanks everyone! Such great info here. I've read so much on here for weeks, so finally joined. I just posted in the what gender area with some pictures hoping to get some experts help. I'll also join the state thread!
