Hello everyone, we just got two long Island reds and I am a total city girl just moved on five acres. It already is fun to watch themy be ready for me to let them out in the evenings. :)

Greetings from Kansas and :welcome. Happy you joined and glad to hear you are enjoying your "chicken TV" as we like to call it! As a newer chicken keeper you might like to do some reading in the Learning Center here https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center
It will prepare for most chicken contingencies. Best wishes!
