My name is Ashley. I grew up on a small farm, and had chickens growing up. My husband and I just purchased a place in the country, and are super excited to get chickens this Spring! So are our kids. Ages 14, 8, and 10 months. (The last one isn't excited yet, but I'm sure she will be some day...)

Welcome! Thats awesome i have three kids as well 2,4,5. This is my first time with chickens and i think having chickens is such a great learning animal for children. Even for adults. Theres always something to learn about them. Super entertaining an who doesnt love having a flock come running/flying to great you. This site is super helpfully an welcoming.
