Hello, my husband & I are currently incubating our 1st Black Orpington hatching eggs. We are new to breeding poultry. We will be showing & breeding from our small flock.
At the moment we have 3 pet Orpington's plus a Plymouth Rock.
Great to have discovered 'BackYard Chickens' where I'm sure we will find plenty of helpful advice. Many thanks.

Hello. And a genuine welcome cluck, cluck, cluck to you all. So grateful to have you. I hope you'll feel right at home here. So settle in for the wealth of info, fun, and frolicking of our flock. Don't hesitate to ask questions and/or chime in.

I have a few Orpingotn's here in unincorporated Chatham County, Ga and they are just wonderful so far. When they become old enough to lay a few golden nuggets for us I'll be so overjoyed. Meanwhile, I'll just have to love them as they are and yearn for the spring so they can do what they do.

Again I say welcome to you.
