Hello,
I'm new to raising chickens. I had two buff orpingtons, and a blue d'uccle chick, about 5 weeks old. The day I joined this website they were carried off by a fox, which was quite upsetting. However I am still very eager to raise chickens, and am excited to be a member. I am excited that everyone seems really involved and interested in chickens!! It's great to find a group to talk to and share advice with!

Sorry to hear of your loss. Do you think you're going to get more chickens soon? I hear hardware cloth works well as predator proof for coop walls, etc.
