My baby chick has been falling over a lot today, it's 5 days old. It had poopy stuck on its bottom, i cleaned it off and I found a hard shaped thing where its umbilicord was, but every time I try cleaning it, it goes crazy. It distance itself from the others. I'm worried sick what's wrong with it

Can you take a photo of the "thing" that you are concerned about on the chick? And then go over to the forum on "raising baby chicks" and post it. You'll get a lot more help over there. Also, you could cross post on "Emergencies and diseases". More people who can help you will be monitoring those two forums.

The hard thing is most likely the umbilical cord. Leave it alone, don't try to clean it unless you see it weeping. You might want to get some vitamins into it: Polyvisol without Iron, or Nutridrench which is made especially for poultry.
