So I'm new to raising chickens and recently received my MMH order. Along with my wyandottes (SLW, GLW, and BLRW) I opted to have them send me a "free rare breed chick" though I'm not sure it's "rare".

Here is a pic of a wing.

And the feet seem to have a bluish-green hue to them.

Any thoughts on the breed and maybe the sex? I really hope it's a pullet as I'd hate to get rid of it because its the friendliest and most outgoing one in the flock.

  2. Easter Egger. Fluffy cheeks!!!
They have them listed as Araucana/Americanas

Easter Egger for sure. Too young to tell gender though.
