I have a group of Coppers that have been bumfuddled - lol.

When they were 8 weeks - everyone here, including myself, thought we only had 2 roos.

Well, only two are crowing now and those two are HUGE compared to the others -

BUT Now about 4 others look like roos - though they aren't nearly as large, combs/waddles are smaller

then 3 or so are obviously hens -
Have tiny, light combs and almost no waddles

When I google Marans hens, the hens have fairly large combs/waddles -

I was going to give a friend the extra roos today - but I want to be 100% that they are roos.

I know they are acting as if they are dying of heat overload and thirst, but it is pretty cool in there, and they have buckets of water - lol - drama kings/queens

    1st pic has two roos
    2nd pic is roo
3rd pic is pullet...? Not 100% on that one, but I'm leaning toward pullet.
    4th pic is roo
5th pic you have two roos. (the same ones that were in the first pic) The one closest to the camera is a pullet.

Picture one: 3 roos. The one by the feeder is the 3rd roo
Picture two: 3 maybe 4. The last one in the row of 3 and the first one are roos, and the speckled sussex is a roo. The middle looks like a roo but doesn't at the same time.
Picture three: 1 roo and 3 pullets. Cant tell what the one with its back to the cam is.
Picture four: 2 roos not sure about the 3rd.
Picture five: 4 roos and 2 pullets.
