help...baby chix with bent toes...

i just received my chix today and one of my chix toes/legs are bad...

her toes are curled under and she walks on her shanks.

advice???

I have used duck tape folded in have about 2 1/2 long (sticky sides together) then cut them out in the shape of the foot with a piece going up the leg (like a brace), using bandaids cut in thin strips I tape the foot to it like it should be if walking on it. It will have difficulty walking at first but will learn after a week or so you can take it off & the foot should stay like it is suppose to, if not put it back on.

Sorry I don't have a picture but you may be able to do a serch to find one.

i have it done right now...she is walking ok on it. funny to watch.
