HELP! Baby Silkie with bad leg!

*first time chick keeper here!* This little black silkie jusy arrived today. He/she is having a hard time walking on his right foot. And the other chicks Are pecking at the weak foot. We separated him from the others. Any idea what could be wrong or what we should do?? We must save him/her! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Not a complete expert but something you might could try would be to put "shoes" on him/her. Use the adhesive part of a regular size bandaid, you'll probably have to cut it into two, and just stick those on it's feet with it's toes out like normal, and hopefully that will work. The picture below is not mine but it give you an idea of what to do.

No worries, it’s a simple fix the chick just needs a shoe to straighten out the toes. There’s different ways to do it you can YouTube which way would be best for you and your chick and keep the shoe on for a few days and it’ll fix itself. :)
