Help!!!!! Blood On The Outside Of Egg

I Recently Just Went And Gathered Eggs Outside And Found That 2 Of My Eggs Had Blood On The Outside Of The Shell! Can Anyone Tell What Happened Or Is The Egg Safe To Eat? I Am Pretty Sure I Know What Chicken Layed It Too. I Hope The Eggs Are Safe To Eat And The Chickens Are Okay And They Dont Have A Disease Or Something.

Sometimes a little blood vessel breaks in the duct and the chicken is fine, so is the egg.

A more techinical explanation will have to come from somebody else.

thank you so much i was really worried because a couple of days ago i had a tophat hen fall over and die. It appeared it couldnt stand and could only lay on one side it looked as if it had vertigo.
